Job description:
Support and maintains business application services.

Works in a team with IT organizations and 3rd party service providers to ensure that 'best in class' services are provided to the end users under the IT Information Library (ITIL) framework.

Responsibilities:

Operational responsibility for multiple applications used in an international business.

Supports the partnership between IT managers and business leaders to obtain business continuity and high performance and availability to end users.

Solves application issues and problems in collaboration with other IT teams and work support request raised by users along with providing guidance, assistance, coordination and following up on user questions.

Initiates and monitors recurring jobs and administers application stability and performance.

Areas of Technical Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
Experience with Business Applications landscapes on Client/ Server and Web Environments

System Enviroments: Microsoft, Unix, Linux.

Web Server setup and maintenance: IIS, Apache

Database : SQL Server, Oracle

Programming and Application Integration: .net, C, Java, WebLogic, Powerbuilder, Script languages, Lotus notes

Language skills: English (advanced)
