Taller Technologies is looking for a J2EE Developer to work remotely for our client based in USA. This is a full-time position.
This role requires a skilled and motivated individual who is able to take end to end responsibility in order to meet the deliverables.

Scope of work:

* Implement the designs (design, code, test, deploy). Support the deployed applications through debugging, fixing, and maintenance releases.
* Understand the current applications and technical architecture and provide technical and programming support to the developers.
* Work with users, contractors, vendors and technical personnel to meet project milestones.
* Stay abreast of new technology and methods.
* Have a thorough understanding of software development lifecycle and the ability to implement software following the structured approach.

Required skills:

* Must have Excellent English Level - Verbal and Written
* Server-side Java (J2EE) Development Experience
* Strong OO concepts & programming skills
* Experience with common Java frameworks, tools and technologies such as: Struts, EJB, Spring, Web Services, Servlets, JUnit, JFunc, Maven, Ant, JPA, JDBC, JMX, Application Servers.
* Well versed in RDBMS technology


Key tasks and responsibilities include:

* Be involved in all phases of the project lifecycle (from analysis and specification through to testing and deployment)
* Contribute to projects being on schedule and meeting client needs
* Partner effectively with globally distributed team members and outsourced partners


* Basic qualifications:
o Four year degree or international equivalent, preferably in Computer Science
o Experience with core Java
o Desirable experience with Web services
o Desirable experience with testing methodologies and frameworks (JUnit, Mock objects or similar)
o Experience with ORM frameworks
o Excellent communication skills and team ethic


Additional requirements

* Expert level experience with Java and Object Oriented design. C++ experience is a plus
* Strong knowledge of Spring Framework is a plus
* Experience in Service Oriented Architecture and web services is a plus
